Week beginning 11th March Homework and Round-Up.

Miss Cunningham

This week, we have mostly been learning about percentages and fine tuning our arithmetic skills. In English, we have started to write non-chronological reports, and we have concentrated on inference questions in reading.

Homework has been set on MyMaths and Cracking Comprehension. Use Spelling Frame to practice your spellings and Read Theory for extra reading practice. You have been given a folder which contains some arithmetic practice. At the back are answers and guidance on technique. Give these pages to your parents/siblings if they are helping you.

This is an excellent video to help you calculate percentages of amounts. Watch this if you need some extra help.

Maths Mansion video on multiplying and dividing by 10, 100 and 1000.
